HeartCode(R) ACLS Anywhere In Hospital

Based on 2005 Guidelines. This CD-based self-directed learning product has a simplified user interface that uses microsimulation technology to present realistic patient scenarios. While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on 2005 ACLS guidelines, and provide treatment. Successful completion of the CD-based cognitive component, paired with skills verification provided by GPS Edcucation by an a approved AHA ACLS instructor, meets the requirements for the issuing of an AHA ACLS provider card.

 This product is approved by EMS providers and the Accreditation Department for Continuing Education for nurses, doctors, and pharmacists by their respective credentialing bodies (AACN, ACCME, ACPE, and CECBEMS).

The online BLS Renewal Course provides a review for healthcare professionals who have prior CPR training.  This program recognizes that healthcare professionals have knowledge and skills acquired from prior CPR training and years of patient care.

Once you have completed the online portion of the course, you will go to GPS Education who is an authorized American Heart Association Training Center for the skills validation portion.  After you have completed both sections of the course, you will be issued an American Heart Association BLS - Healthcare Provider card.

The cost is $25.00 for the self directed CPR eLearning program.
